(1) The Registrar shall be appointed by the Board of Governors in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) The Registrar shall have the power to enter into agreements, execute contracts, sign documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University. (3) The Registrar shall be responsible for the due custody of the records and the Common Seal of the University and shall be bound to place before the Chancellor, the ViceChancellor or any other authority all such information and documents as may be necessary for transaction of the University’s business. (4) The Registrar shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes or as may be decided from time to time by the Board of Governors or the Board of Management.
