(1) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the appointment of teachers and officers of the University shall be made m accordance with the provisions prescribed by the' Statutes. (2) Except in cases provided for by the Statutes;teachers and officers of the University shall be appointed under a written contract. The contract shall be furnished to. the teacher or officer concerned.
