(1) The Police (Manipur Third Amendment) Ordinance, 1977 (1 of 1977) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Police Act, 1861 as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed 1:0 have been done or taken under the Police Act, 1861 as amended by this Act, as the case may be, as if this Act had come into fort: on ~the da_tc the said Ordinance came into force. .
