In section 34 of the Police Act, 1861, the following proviso inserted by the Police (Manipur Second Amend‘ meat) Act, 1976 after clans: Eighth, shall be omitted, namely,— “Provided that notvéithstanding anything cohtained, . in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, an offence under clause Sixth shall be non-bailable.”.
