The State Governrr ent may at any time, suspend or remove from office the President or the Vice-President or any member, other than the ex-officio member, of the Board on any of the following grounds, namely : that he has been guilty of corruption or misconduct in the administration of the endowment ; or that, being a legal practitioner, he bas acted or .appeared on behalf of any person against s the Board in any legal proceedings ; or (c) that he is or bas become subject to any of the disquali- fications mentioned -in section 6 ; or . (d) that he has absented himself from more than three consecu- tive meetings of the Board and fails to explain such absence to the satisfaction of the Board.
