( 1 ) The Law Officer shall be the principal legal officer of the University. He shall be a full-time salaried officer and shall work directly under the superintendence, direction and control of the Vice-Chancellor. ( 2 ) The Law Officer shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the selection committee constituted for the purpose under this Act.
