1 [ 2 [Permits] for consumption or use of intoxicating drugs 3 [or opium]].- ( 1 ) The 4 [State] Government may, by rules or an order in writing, authorise an officer to grant 5 [permits] for the 6 [consumption or use] of 7 [intoxicating drugs] 8 [or opium] in such quantities as may be prescribed. ( 2 ) Such 9 [permits] shall be granted on the certificate of the Medical Board.
