( 1 ) The Board of Management shall consist of the following members, namely:- ( a ) the Vice-Chancellor; (b) two members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; ( c ) two Deans of Faculties, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; ( d ) three persons, who are not the members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; and ( e ) three persons from amongst the teachers, nominated by the sponsoring body. ( 2 ) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. ( 3 ) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. ( 4 ) The Board of Management shall meet at least once in every two months. ( 5 ) The quorum for meetings of the Board of Management shall be five.
