(1) The State Government shall by notification in the Official Gazette constitute a Committee of Ministers for Kumbh Mela. (2) The Government shall appoint one of the Ministers of the Committee as “ Kumbh Mela Minister ”. (3) The State Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of Deputy Collector as the Secretary of the Committee. (4) The Committee of Ministers shall,— (i) review the work of the Authority, Chairperson and Kumbh Mela, from time to time ; (ii) examine the report submitted by the Authority ; (iii) approve the fees to be imposed by the Authority under section 12 of the Act.
