Power of appointment in whom to vest.— Subject to the provisions of sections 1[80B,] 460R and 460T, the power of appointing municipal officers and servants for the purposes of the 2[Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking] shall vest in the 3[Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Committee, if the post is equivalent to or higher than the post of Secretary set forth in the schedule sanctioned by the Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Committee] and the corporation under section 460R 4[and in the General Manager] in all other cases.
