Appointment of Registrars.— For the purpose of registering births and deaths, the Commissioner shall divide 1[Brihan Mumbai] into such and so many districts and sub-district as he shall from time to time think fit; and a Municipal Officer shall be a Registrar of Births and Death of each such districts.
