Additional information and the attendance of the person who gave the notice may be required.— If the notice given tinder section 337 and the document, if any, furnished under section 338 do not supply all the information which the Commissioner deems necessary to enable him to deal satisfactorily with the case, Commissioner may, at any time, within thirty days after receipt of the said documents, by written, notice require the production of such further particulars and details as he deems necessary.
