( 1 ) Every person, who immediately before the appointed day, is serving in colleges and institutions of the Krishi Vidyapeeths referred to in clause (b) of sub-section ( 1 ) of section 62, shall from the said day become an employee of the University and shall cease to be an employee of the respective Colleges, Institutions, etc. of the Krishi Vidyapeeth . ( 2 ) As soon as may be, after the appointed day the State Government may, after consulting the Vice-Chancellor of the concerned Krishi Vidyapeeths and the University direct by general or special order that- (i) such of the employees of the State Government who immediately before the appointed day serving in the institutions specified in First Schedule ; and ( ii ) such of the employees of the Krishi Vidyapeeths as are specified in such order, shall stand allotted to serve in connection with the affairs of the University with effect from such date as may be specified in such order: Provided that, the non-teaching staff of the Faculties of Veterinary Sciences and Fishery Sciences and Animal Husbandry wings of the Krishi Vidyapeeth may exercise option for retention by the said Vidyapeeth , if the said Vidyapeeth agrees to retain such non-teaching staff along with post held by them on the day immediately before the appointed day.
