(1) The recurring grant for a financial year shall be sanctioned by the Director on the basis of the expenditure for the preceding financial year as shown in the accounts and balance sheet in the report of the approved auditor or of the [Educational Officer] as the case may be: Provided that the estimated expenditure of the current year approved by the Director may from the basis for the first year in which a library is given aid. Any adjustment in the amount of recurring grant for the first year that may become necessary on the basis of the actual expenditure for the year may be made in the next year. (2) The recurring grant shall bear such proportion to the actual expenditure as is fixed by the Government from time to time. Substituted by Noti. No. Ed. (D) 3-2447/57/EHD dt.
