(1) The Dean of Students' Welfare shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the dente's Welfare- recommendation of the Kulpati. (2) The Dean appointed under sub-section. (I) shall be a whole-time salaried officer: Provided that the executive Council may, if it is considered necessary, appoint, on the recommendation of the Kulpati, a teacher, not below the rank of a Reader for a period of three years to Discharge the duties of the Dean of Students' Welfare, in addition to his duties ati such teacher, and, in such a case, the Executive Council may sanction a suitable allowance to be paid to him. (3) The terms and conditions of service and duties and powers of the Dean of Students' Welfare shall be prescribed by the Statutes. Other Officers.
