Training of Personnel Dealing with Children

Training of Personnel Dealing with Children.- (1) The State Government shall provide for training of personnel appointed under the Act and the rules and each category of staff, keeping in view with their statutory responsibilities and specific jobs requirements. (2) The training programme shall include: (i) introduction of the Act and the rules made thereunder; (ii) orientation on child welfare, care, protection and child rights; (iii) induction training of the newly recruited personnel; (iv) refresher training courses and skill enhancement programmes, documentation and sharing of good practices; and (v) conferences, seminars and workshops. (3) The following categories of personnel shall have to undergo training for minimum period of fifteen days, namely:- S. No. Personnel
