Duties of the Joint Committees—It shall be the duty of the Joint Committees to promote measures for securing amity and good relations between the employer and employees and to that end to consult on matters of their common interest or concern and endeavour to compose any material difference of opinion in respect of such matters Provided that matters in Schedule I shall be outside the purview of this committee.
