Function of the Members of the Raksha Samiti.- The members of the Gram Raksha Samiti shall also performs the following functions in addition to those functions as provided in Section 13 of the Adhiniyam, namely :- (a) Service of summons; (b) to help in prevention of crime specially crime against women, children, minorities, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes and help in the meaures to eradicate against the mal- practices prevailing in the Society; and (c) to help in fostering the spirit of communal harmony, unity and national integration.
