(1) The Council may, if it considers it so fo do, and after giving due noLicc to tlic person concerned and enquiring • into Ids objections, iT 'any, order that any entry in die Slate Register which shall be proved to the satisfaction ol the Cotimil to have been fraudulently or incorrectly made or brought about, be cancelled or amended, I (2) The Council may direct the removal altogether, or for a specified period from the State Register of the n'ame of any registered nurse, midwife, auxiliary nurse-midwife or health visitor for the same reasons for which registration may be pro hibited by the Council under sccLion 17. (3) The Council may tlirert that, any name removed under subsection (2) shall he restored subject to such conditions, if buy, which the Council may deem fit to impose.
