Recognition of paramedical qualifications granted by certain paramedical institutions whose qualifications are not included in the Schedule.–– Any para-medical institution in India, which desires a para-medical qualification granted by it to be included in the Schedule, may apply to the Government with such application fee as may be prescribed to have such qualification recognised and the Government, after consulting the Council, may by notification in the Government Gazette, amend the Schedule so as to include such qualification therein, and any such notification may also direct that an entry shall be made in the last column of the Schedule against such para-medical qualification declaring that it shall be a recognised para-medical qualification only when granted after specified date.
