Power of Inspectors.––An Inspector shall for the purpose of any of the duties which he is authorized or required to perform under this Act be deemed to be a public servant, as defined under section 21 of the State Ranbir Penal Code, Samvat 1989 and shall for that purpose have such powers as may be prescribed by the Government under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 32.
