Cost of collectzon and disposal of waste water.-( l) The Authority shall, by notification in the Gazette, fix the cost of collection anti dispo-al of waste water accordmg to its volume (which ~ha.ll be such percentage of the volume of total water supplied to the consumer as may be pres en bed and also the minimum cost to be charged in respect of such collection and disposal. {2) The Authority may, in lieu of charging the cost of coilection and disposal of waste water according to the basis relcrred to in sub- secti0n (I) .accept a fixed sum lor a specified period • on the basis ot expect~d collection and disposal of waste water dunng that pcri0d.
