The following shall be the authorities of the University, namely:-- (i) the Senate; (ii) the University Governing Council; (iii) the Academic Council; (iv) the Research Council; [(v) Extension Council; (vi) Faculty Board of Studies; and] such other bodies as may be specified by Statutes to be the authorities of the University. Substituted by Act 18 of 2021 published in K. G. Ext. No. 3384 dt. 15/11/2021 (w.e.f. 26/02/2021). Prior to the Substitution it read as: "(v) School Governing Councils; (vi) Departmental Governing Councils; (vii) faculties; and,"
