(1) Subject to the provisions of sections 11 and 13, the term of office of Trustees including the Chairman but not including the ex-officio Trustees shall be as follows:-- (a) the Chairman-such period as may be fixed by the Government not being less than three years and commencing on the date on which his appointment is notified; (b) a Trustee appointed or elected in pursuance of section 14 in the place of a Trustee who has been permitted to absent himself from meetings of the Board- the period of the absence of the latter Trustee; (c) other Trustees- three years commencing on the date on which then-election or appointment, as the case may be, is notified. (2) A Trustee shall, if not disqualified for any of the reasons mentioned in section 7, be eligible for re-appointment or re-election at the end of his term of office.
