The Devaswom Commissioner may, with the previous sanction of the Board, withdraw from the management or superintendence of any endowment assumed under the provision of this Chapter or any other law and restore the same to the original donors or trustees or their representatives if he is satisfied that such a measure is desirable in the interests of the institution subject to such conditions as he may deem fit to prescribe at the time of restoration.
