(1) The Board shall in each year prepare a budget for the next financial year showing the probable receipts and disbursements of the incorporated and unincorporated Devaswoms and Hindu Religious institutions under the management of the Board during that financial year. The Board shall also within two months of the commencement of each financial year submit to the [Government] such number of copies of the budget so prepared as the [Government] may direct. (2) The Board shall in each financial year prepare an annual administration report of the working of the Board during that year and shall within three months of the commencement of the next financial year submit to the [Government] such number of copies of the said report as the [Government] may direct. (3) The trustee of every institution shall in each year submit to the Board before such date and in such form as it may require, a budget showing the probable receipts and disbursements of the institution during the following financial year. (4) Every such budget shall make adequate provision for the scale of expenditure for the time being in force and the due discharge of all liabilities in respect of loans. (5) The Board may within such time after the receipt of the budget, as it may fix, direct the trustee to make such alterations, omissions or additions in the budget as it may think fit.
