Members of the Kerala Urban Art Commission.—(1) The Commission shall consist of a Chairperson and such number of official and non-official members, as may be prescribed and as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and may include persons who, in the opinion of the Government, possess special knowledge or practical experience in urban and environmental design or architecture and related subjects. (2) The Secretary to Government, Local Self Government Department, dealing with matters relating to town and country planning, shall be the ex-officio Chairperson of the Kerala Urban Art Commission and the Chief Town Planner shall be its ex-officio Member-Secretary. (3) The term of office, conditions of service and allowances payable to the non-official members shall be such as may be prescribed.
