The Executive Committee.—The Executive Committee shall be the chief executive body of the University and shall consist of the following members, namely:— (a) Ex-officio members (i) The Vice-Chancellor; (ii) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor; (iii) Secretary to Government in charge of the Higher Education Department; (iv) Secretary to Government in charge of the Finance Department; (v) Secretary to Government in charge of the Cultural Affairs Department; (vi) Two Chairmen of the Faculty Advisory Committee to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor for a period of one year; (vii) One Vice-Chairman of the Research Council to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor for a period of one Year; (b) Elected members (i) One member elected by the elected members of the General Council from among the Directors of Schools in the General Council; (ii) One member elected by the elected members of the General Council from among the teachers in the General Council; (iii) One member elected by the elected members of the General Council from among the students in the General Council;
