Section 37

Tariff Structure & Design.--

(1) The tariff for renewable energy technologies shall be a single part tariff consisting of the following cost components: (a) Return on equity; wherein maximum equity allowable for RoE shall be limited to 30% of the capital cost; (b) Interest on loan capital; (c) Depreciation; (d) Interest on working capital; (e) Operation and maintenance expenses. (2) The generic tariff or the project specific tariff, as the case may be, shall be determined from the year of commercial operation of the project, on levelized basis. Provided that, the levelisation shall be carried out over the "useful life" of the Renewable Energy project, specified under these Regulations. Provided further that, for the purpose of levellised tariff computation, the discounting factor equivalent to Pre Tax weighted average cost of capital shall be considered.
