Appointment of officers and employees of the Commission.-(1) The Government may, appoint the following officers and employees necessary for the proper management of the Commission, namely:- (a) a Law Officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary to Govemment from the Law Department; (b) a Finance Officer from the Finance Department not below the rank of Joint Secretary to Government; and (c) such other officers and employees as may be prescribed and considered necessary for assisting the Commission to exercise the powers and perform the functions under this Act. (2) The salary and allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of, the officers and employees of the Commission shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) Appointment of officers and employees may be made by the Govemment initially through deputation when the Commission is constituted and starts functioning. (4) The rules applicable to the Government employees in respect of the method of appointment, salary and allowances, discipline and other conditions of service shall be applicable to the officers and employees of the Commission.
