If a member coming under the clauses 7 dies while in service an amount of Rs. 25,000 shall be paid to his/her family. In the event of death of a member covered by the scheme, the president of the institution shall obtain an application, in the form prescribed in form No. C 5, addressed to the Secretary - Treasurer of the Board from the nominees claiming the amount and forward the same with the relevant details, duly recommended by the president, Secretary and two Board of Directors of the institution with in 60 days from the date of death of the member.
