The Commission and the Appellate Authorities shall, while performing its duties under this Act, shall have all the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act 5 of 1908) in respect of the following matters, namely:-- (a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person; (b) discovery and production of any document; (c) receiving evidence on oath or on affidavits; (d) requisitioning any public record; (e) to appoint a commission for the examination of witnesses; (f) to review its orders, decisions and directions; (g) any other matters as may be prescribed.
