(1) All engagements entered into and transfer made by the defaulter which are not binding on the Government under Section 44 shall not be binding upon the purchaser. (2) All contracts entered into by the defaulter with his tenants and payments to him by them shall be binding upon the purchaser to the same extent and under the same conditions as laid down in Section 45.
