(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Record of Rights Act, 1968. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint. [2] The Act come into force on 01/03/1969 vide S.R.O. No. 90/69 published in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 55 dated 28/02/1969
