Section 23

Exemption of bona fide travellers and lawful consignment.

Until [State Government] by notification otherwise direct, the provisions of this Act shall not be deemed to apply- (a) to liquor in the possession of bona fide travellers for their own personal use while passing through any local area in which this Act is in force; or (b) to lawful consignments of liquor or intoxicating drugs carried through or into any such local area. Inserted by Act 25 of 1960.
