Section 12

Resignation of membership

Any member other than an ex-officio member, or the Vice-president may at any time resign his office by giving notice in writing to the President, the President may resign his office by giving notice in writing to the Council. Such resignation shall take effect in the case of a member or Vice-president from the date on which it is received by the President; and in the case of the President, from the date on which it is placed before the Council.
