(1) All teaching in connection with the degrees, diplomas and certificates of the University shall be conducted by the Executive Council in accordance with the Syllabus prescribed by regulations. (2) The courses and curricula and the authorities responsible for organizing such teaching shall be such as may be prescribed by regulations. (3) Subject to the provisions of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (Central Act 3 of 1956), there shall be such teaching staff as Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Readers, Lecturers, Visiting and Adjunct Professors and other incumbents as may be prescribed by regulations. (4) There shall be a head for each Department, Centre or any other institution under the University as may be prescribed by regulations.
