Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, a Standing Committee may, for the discharge of the functions assigned to it, require the Secretary or any other employee of the Municipality to produce any record, report, return, document and other particulars and may require him to be present at the meeting of the Committee for seeking further information, as it may deem fit, and he shall be bound to comply with such requisition.
