Any person who obstructs the lawful exercise of any power conferred by or under Chapter VI [shall be liable to a fine, which shall not be less than ten thousand rupees but may extend to fifty thousand rupees, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed]. Substituted by Act 4 of 2025 published in K. G. Ext. No. 1511 dt. 19/04/2025 (w.e.f. 19/04/2025). Prior to the Substitution it read as: "shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees"
