Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Central Act 5 of 1898) any offence under this Act shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code. (2) No court below that of a Magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence under this Act.
