Protection of action taken in good faith.— No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Government or the Director or any member of the committee or any officer or employee of the Government or a society 6[or an officer appointed under the provisions of this Act] for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules or bye-laws made thereunder.
