Directions by Government.—(1) The Government may, from time to time, give to a society general instructions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, to be followed by the society. (2) In the performance of its functions under this Act, a society shall not depart from any general instructions given under sub-section (1), except with the previous permission of the Government.
