Whoever, without the previous consent of the court, abets the marriage of any of the persons specified in clauses (a) and (b) of section 22 shall be liable, on conviction before a court of session, to a fine not exceeding two thousand rupees, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both.
