(1) The provisions of this Act and rule made thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or any custom, usage or contract or decree or order of a court or other authority. (2) For the removal of doubts it is hereby declared that the provisions of the Kerala Land Development Act, 1964 (17 of 1964) and the rules made thereunder shall apply to the extent such provisions are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.
