Section 23

Power to specify principles of localisation

(1) The Government may, having regard to the resources of land and water, nature of soil, climate and other technical considerations, by order, specify for each command area, the principles of localisation for the purpose of irrigation. (2) The Government may, having regard to the advancement in technology of land and water management and other agronomic practices, by order, alter, from time to time, the principles of localisation so specified for any command area.
