Every land holder in a community irrigation project shall be responsible- (i) to maintain the irrigation system under the community irrigation project in good repair and to pay the proportionate expenses for operation and maintenance as determined by the Association; (ii) to use water for irrigation economically and without wastage; (iii) to take such precautionary and preventive measures as may be necessary so as not to cause damage to the adjacent land holdings.
