Prodedure for making Ordinances.-(1) The Syndicate shall have power to make Ordinances in the manner hereinafter provided. (2) In making Ordinances, the Syndicate shall consult the Board of studies concerned where such Ordinances affect the appointment and duties of Examiners. (3) Every Ordinance made by the Syndicate shall be submitted to the Academic Council at its next meeting. The ACademic Council shall be competentto propose amendments to any such Ordinance for the consideration of the Syndicate. The Syndicate shall resubmit the Ordinance at the next meeting of the Academic Council with or without amendments. (4) Every Ordinance shall have effectfrom the date of its publication in the Gazette or such other date as the Syndicate may direct.
