Sanction of death/retirement benefits

[A member on completion of fifty years of age or after completion of 30 years membership and subscription, under the Scheme, or in the event of his permanent total disablement which may prevent him from working as an Autorickshaw worker, as certified by a civil surgeon, or his nominee in the case of the death of a member before he completes 50 years of age or 30 years membership and subscription in the Scheme, as the case may be, will file an application for retirement benefit before the District Executive Officer. The District Executive Officer will forward the application with his remarks to the Chief Executive Officer who will be the authority to sanction or reject the claim. Before fixing the retirement benefits the Chief Executive Officer may ascertain the amount standing at the credit of the member. Appeal, if any, against the order of the Chief Executive Officer, will be filed before the Administrative Committee within 90 days from the date of order by the applicant.
