(a) The worker will be entitled to [Rs. 1,45,264] as retirement benefit on completion of [30] years since his enrolment and appropriate sum will be paid for lesser periods as shown in the appendix II. (1) Provided further that member/members who does not cover two years' membership in the scheme will be eligible for retirement benefits as shown in Appendix II after deducting 10% as service charges. (2) In case of death of a member before retirement and any time after enrolling, his nominee will get death benefit of [Rs. 25,000] plus retirement benefits accrued till the date of death after deducting any amount due to the Fund. The retirement age will be [fifty] years. [(3) Provided further that in the case of cessation of membership due to any other valid reasons to be established by the workman, he will be paid retirement benefits as shown in Appendix II relaxing the provisions contained in sub-clause (i) of Clause 14 for the period in respect of which he had been a member of the Scheme and was paying his contribution promptly.] Substituted by CO.
