Removal of non-offithil Directors—The Government may by notification in the Gazette, remove from !office any Director if in their opinion such Director has ceased to represent the irjterests which he purports to represent in the Board or if the Government are satisfied that the Director had acted against the implementation of the Act or of the scheme or against due discharge of the !bnctions of the Board or of the Chairman or the office of the Fund: 25 Provided that before removing a Director under, the clause, he shall be given a reasonable opportunity to show cause why he should not be removed.
